The \u013dubov\u0148a Castle and open-air museum are popular among tourists, offering exhibitions dedicated to the history of the castle and Star\u00e1 \u013dubov\u0148a. The residents of the town highly value their history, as evidenced not only by the exhibition in the castle but also by the museum called Dom \u013dubovnianskeho Me\u0161\u0165ana (House of \u013dubov\u0148a Burgher) and the Provincial House in Star\u00e1 \u013dubov\u0148a, serving as a municipal gallery presenting works of domestic and foreign artists. There is also a memorial room dedicated to J\u00e1n Melkovi\u010d, an actor and composer born in Star\u00e1 \u013dubov\u0148a, and a well-known Slovak writer Ter\u00e9zia Vansov\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p>For lovers of hiking, there are numerous beautiful hiking trails in the surroundings of Star\u00e1 \u013dubov\u0148a. The castle offers a historical exhibition showcasing the history of the fortress castle. The complex also includes an open-air museum that provides visitors with insights into life in a traditional village in the Upper Spi\u0161 and \u0160ari\u0161 regions. The highlight of the museum is the wooden Greek Catholic church dedicated to St. Michael the Archangel.
