It is the smallest wine region in Slovakia but the most famous and highly sought-after. It is one of the five regions in the world where grapes for the production of naturally sweet wines can be grown. This beautiful wine-growing area offers many opportunities for hiking, allowing visitors to appreciate the beauty of nature in protected areas and reserves or visit Tokaj wine cellars. Tourist trails lead visitors, for example, to the Slovak double cross, the ox-bow dead arm of the Bodrog River, or to the lowest point in Slovakia, located in the village of Klin nad Bodrogom at an altitude of 94.3 meters above sea level.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p>The product of vineyard tourism is the Tokaj Wine Route, which, among other things, also has a cultural, social and spiritual orientation. It was created from the need to learn about the most remarkable places in the Slovak part of the Tokaj wine-growing region, the cultivation and processing of vines, the technology of wine production, and folklore and cultural-historical traditions.
