Buildings, such as Bos\u00e1kova Bank, Caraffa Prison, the Evangelical College, the Greek Catholic Church of St. John the Baptist, R\u00e1koczi Palace, the Town Hall, and Florian&#8217;s Gate are among the captivating historical sites, some of which date back century.<\/p>\n<p>The Cathedral of St. Nicholas deserves a special mention as one of the oldest and most significant churches in Slovakia. The main altar, attributed to the Pre\u0161ov carver J\u00e1n Weiss, is the dominant feature of the church. The visually striking Neptune Fountain from the 19th century and the Rococo-Classicist building of the so-calle County House are also noteworthy.<\/p>\n<p>A visit to the Museum of Jewish Culture in Pre\u0161ov is well-deserved. It was the first museum of its kind in Slovakia, and its permanent exhibition of Judaics is installed in the Pre\u0161ov Orthodox Synagogue. Art flourishes in Pre\u0161ov particularly in the spaces of the Regional Gallery and the Jon\u00e1\u0161 Z\u00e1borsk\u00fd Theater, which offer visitors a wide range of contemporary art by local but internationally recognized artists.<\/p>\n<p>Pre\u0161ov&#8217;s pleasant cafes, breweries, and quality restaurants add to the breathtaking atmosphere, where visitors experience gourmet delights day after day. Local and international shops create a unique character of a vibrant city full of possibilities, experiences, and
