One of them is Kriegerov dvor at Hlavn\u00e1 77, which has been a national cultural monument since 1963. In the 16th and 17th centuries, they underwent significant reconstruction &#8211; they were connected and a second floor was added. Since this reconstruction, we can find barrel vaults (a vault in the shape of a semi-cylinder) in several areas of the buildings. In the 19th century, the building received its current classicist facade with three arcaded arches of the loggia on the first floor.      <\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, the complex was once known as the headquarters of a pharmacy. Today, it houses commercial establishments, gastronomic facilities &#8211; including our sister businesses, the Viecha pod klenbami Wine Bar and Wine Shop and the first Italian pastry shop in Slovakia, Delizie &#8211; as well as various other services. One of the most famous of the Krieger family was the doctor Christian Ernest Krieger, the city doctor of Pre\u0161ov. In the 18th century, he studied medicine at prestigious European universities and participated in the development of the city hospital.   <\/p>\n<p>Krieger&#8217;s Court is not only an architectural gem, but also a place that breathes history and stories of the noble family, scientists and doctors who shaped Pre\u0161ov and its social life.
