The Observatory and Planetarium in Prešov offer an exceptional visual and educational experience for both young and old. Visitors can enjoy observing the sky through telescopes, thematic audio-visual programs, and exhibitions that provide a supportive framework for natural science education and artistic expression.

The program of this institution is diverse, ranging from fairy-tale audio-visual programs in the planetarium to educational programs and musical audio-visual programs under the artificial starry sky of the planetarium. In the latter, classical, popular, or relaxing music by selected composers and musicians is accompanied by visual works by various artists.

Certain programs at the planetarium are also available in Polish, Hungarian, English, French, German, and Russian, opening the doors of the institution to foreign visitors. One of the programs is “Magical Physics,” which aims to popularize physics through intriguing laboratory experiments.
