- Designed in the mid-20th century.
A magnificent view of the city complemented by relaxation and gathering with friends.
The Water Tower was designed by Hungarian architect Viliam Glasz in the first half of the 20th century when he settled in Prešov around 1910. The tower stands at a height of 29 meters and is located in a small triangular square in the residential neighborhood known as Táborisko. In the past, it served as a reservoir for utility water, but today it has been transformed into an observation tower accessible to visitors throughout the week.
The Water Tower, with its observation deck and café, was opened in 2015 and has become a popular spot for relaxation, offering a beautiful view of the city. The lower part of the tower houses a restaurant and a shop, while the top features glass-enclosed observation areas. On clear days, the view from the tower extends all the way to the Tatra Mountains.
n addition to the café and city view, the Water Tower also offers the opportunity to host conferences, family celebrations, graduations, corporate events, and various other activities within its premises.
